- Grad rehearsal and gown pick up at Recreation Centre: 3:30 pm Tuesday, June 29th . Grads will get their grad gowns, and we will arrange seating and who grads will walk with and which bus you will be on. This will take approximately 1½ hours.
- BBQ for grads and NPSS staff: 5:30pm at NPSS to follow rehearsal, Tuesday June 29th.
- Grad Ceremony:  1:30pm Wednesday, June 30th @ Recreation Centre. Grads MUST be at NPSS in the gym with theirs gowns on by 12:30 at the latest. Grads will leave by bus to get to the North Peace Recreation Centre just in time for the ceremony. Please note that grads will not be bussed back to NPSS, so DO NOT bring any purses, backpacks, makeup, coats, cameras, or presents. The gowns are collected at the arena right after the grad ceremonies.
- Grand March:Â 8:00 pm June 30th @ Recreation Centre. Grads and parents should arrive at the arena by 7:30 p.m. and start to line up around the top of the arena. When all grads are assembled, the
Grand March will begin by entering through two arches. - Gradfest will be held at the Kids Arena on June 30th at 11pm.

May 22nd is Prom Night. We hope everyone has an enjoyable and safe evening.
We would like everyone to know that Prom is NOT an event that is sanctioned by North Peace Secondary School or School District #60.
We do not, and can not, support any aspect of an event (before, during or after) that may condone the use of alcohol by students (of age OR under age).
Local Bursaries & Scholarships
Attention Grads: The list of local bursaries and scholarships is now available!
Pick up a checklist from the Career Centre to make a list of awards that interest you. Ms. Edgington is available to go over the list with you. Most students are eligible for more awards than they realize. Many awards do not require top marks, please check award criteria carefully. For those Grade 12 students that would like to submit photos of themselves for our Slide Presentation at the Grad ceremonies, please submit them to mwilson@prn.bc.ca

Please be advised all 2010 graduation ceremony costs are now due. The costs are $60.00 without the souvenir hat, or $65.00 with the souvenir hat. Please bring a cheque or cash to the office as soon as possible.

Gradfest 2010 is a go!
Gradfest is a celebration that is planned for the graduating class of
2010 and their friends for the night of grad. Â We meet the first
Monday of every month at 7:00 pm in the NPSS cafeteria. Â Our next
meeting is Feb. 1st. Â We have parents to coordinate almost all of the
committees but are still looking for Grade 11 and 12 parents and
students to help out on these committees and on the night of grad. Â If
you can help with making food, decorating, fundraising, activities…,
we can use the help. Â We look forward to seeing you at the next
meeting.
Graduation Portrait Schedule
Graduation Portrait Schedule is as follows:

â–¡ There are sign up sheets to book your appointment time located outside the office.
